COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 7 day intensive training is ideal for beginners as well as experienced artists. It is a complete course that is accredited by the APESEQ which ensures that beginner students can get insurance. All of Chloé's cosmetic tattooing knowledge on eyelids, lips and eyebrows will be highlighted and more than 6 techniques will be shared. This training is designed to equip students with the basic skills and knowledge necessary for optimal retention and insertion techniques, while also emphasizing infection control. Our training facility is equipped with the space and tools you need to learn the fundamentals of permanent makeup effectively.
These 6 techniques include extensive lip blush and introduction to neutralisation, precision of lashline and intricate powder eyeliner, hair stroke effect and soft powder. You’ll be equipped with various skills taught by the best in Montreal to create one of a kind cosmetic tattoos for your clients.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Learn foundational cosmetic tattoo techniques for lips, eyebrows, and eyeliner with an emphasis on natural, refined results.
Understand how cosmetic tattooing can enhance facial features, improving the appearance of lips, brows, and lashlines for a more balanced and youthful look.
Apply basic color correction principles to help improve and balance pigmentation across different skin tones.
Develop a safe and gentle approach to pigmenting delicate areas, including lip tissue, eyelids, and eyebrows.
Understand facial morphology and makeup design principles to support customized, face-appropriate results.
Become familiar with PMU devices and their proper use, adapting techniques to different skin types.
Learn essential pigmentology and color theory concepts to support informed pigment selection and predictable healed results.
Understand cartridge types and needle configurations, and how to select them based on skin type and treatment area.
Practice precise pigmentation techniques for soft eyebrow hairstrokes, defined lip borders, and clean eyeliner application.
Learn how to build depth and dimension in eyebrows using layering and basic shading methods.
Develop smooth shading techniques to create natural gradients in lips, brows, and eyeliner.
Learn how to measure, map, and pre-draw features accurately, using symmetry guidelines and proportional facial mapping.
Understand hygiene, safety, and procedural standards required to perform cosmetic tattoo treatments in a clean and secure manner.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
With 9 years of experience, Chloé Simioni is a highly qualified cosmetic tattoo instructor holding 11 professional certifications. She has trained extensively with some of the best in the world, including QVision, Roberta Peixoto, and Oksana Martynenko.
In 2022 Chloé became an official Amiea International trainer. For the following years, she prioritized training and competitions. In 2024, after winning second place at Wulop Canada in device hairstrokes, Chloe brought “watch & learn” workshops as a new training method to Montreal. In 2025 she won first place Powder Eyeliner at the Browista Canada competition, and second place device hairstrokes at the Wulop Canada competition. Following these regional competitions, she entered her first international competition.
Chloé placed 24th in the world in the device hairstroke category of the international Wulop 2025 competition in Antalya, Turkey and is now an official Wulop Canada organizer, bringing elite-level knowledge and international experience to every training. She will co-organize her first regional competition September 2026.
COURSE SCHEDULE
focuses on building a strong theoretical foundation. Students are introduced to the core principles of permanent makeup through an in-depth review of the training manual. Topics such as skin anatomy, color theory, safety, and hygiene are covered in detail. The day concludes with hands-on drawing exercises to develop precision, symmetry, and a solid understanding of shape and structure.
DAY 1
is dedicated to strengthening drawing skills while introducing students to the permanent makeup device. Students continue practicing mapping and design, refining their control and accuracy. The device is introduced in a technical and approachable way, covering machine components, needle configurations, depth, and speed. Students learn how to properly hold and maneuver the device in preparation for practical work.
DAY 2
transitions students into hands-on device practice using latex skins. This day emphasizes control, pressure, and consistency while working with the machine. A live instructor demonstration of a full treatment is performed, allowing students to observe proper setup, technique, workflow, and execution from start to finish.
DAY 3
builds on the previous day with additional live demonstrations and deeper technique breakdowns. Students gain further insight into different approaches, common beginner mistakes, and how to troubleshoot challenges. Continued supervised practice helps reinforce confidence and improve overall execution.
DAY 4
are dedicated to live model practice. During these final days, students perform treatments on real models under close instructor supervision. Emphasis is placed on client consultation, proper mapping, treatment execution, and professional standards. Students leave the course with hands-on experience, increased confidence, and a clear understanding of how to perform treatments safely and effectively in real-world settings.
